Chap. 500.—An ACT to authorize a deed for a portion of the land
belonging to the congregation of St. Peter’s church, at Church-
ville, in Augusta county.
Approved February 29, 1892.
Whereas the congregation of Saint Peter’s church
(Lutheran), at Churchville, Augusta county, through its
trustees, sold to G. W. W. Hanger, a small portion of its
church lot in the village of Churchville, in the county of
Augusta, in September, eighteen hundred and eighty-
eight, and now desire to make a deed for same to pur-
chaser thereof; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That J. H. B. Sellars, Henry B. Seig, and John Rouda-
bush, trustees for Saint Peter’s church, at Churchville,
Augusta county, or any two of them, are authorized to
convey by deed, with special warranty of title, to G. W.
W. Hanger, a strip of land twenty-four feet wide on the
western side of the lot of land held and owned by said
congregation in the village of Churchville, in Augusta
county, said deed to be delivered to said purchaser in ac-
cordance with the terms of said purchase.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
