CHAP. 473.—An ACT to authorize the judge of Buchanan
county to fill a vacancy in the office of commonwealth’s attor-
ney: Approved February 29, 1892.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia.
That the judge of the county court of Buchanan county
is hereby authorized and empowered to fill any vacancy
now existing or that may hereafter exist in the office of
commonwealth’s attorney for said county by appointing
any practicing attorney at the bar of its court, whether
said appointee be a resident of said county or not.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
