CHAP. 451.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 8 of an act
entitled an act to establish a corporation court for the city of
Bristol, in Washington county.

Approved February 29, 1892.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That section eight of an act entitled an act to establish a
corporation court for the city of Bristol, in Washington
county, approved February twelfth, eighteen hundred and
ninety, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as fol-
OWS:

§ 8. The judge of said corporation court shall receive an
annual salary of not less than one thousand dollars nor
more than twelve hundred and fifty dollars, to be fixed by
the council of the city of Bristol, to be paid as provided
by law; and the said judge shall qualify by taking the
oath required by law within thirty days after receiving his
commission, said oath to be taken before any notary pub-
lic or any clerk of a court of record.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
