CHAP. 436.—An ACT for the relief of Frederick Jenkins, James
Jenkins, James West, George Hogg and W. C. Hogg.
Approved February 29, 1892.
Whereas Frederick Jenkins, James Jenkins, James
West, George Hogg and W. C. Hogg attended before the
county court of Gloucester as witnesses for the prosecu-
tion in the case of commonwealth against John Jenkins,
which case was finally dismissed; and whereas their
names failed to be on the records of the court claiming
their attendance, and the clerk, commonwealth’s attorney
and judge of said court certify to the fact that these par-
ties are entitled to be paid for their attendance as wit-
nesses, each one being entitled to five dollars and forty
cents apiece; now, therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the auditor of public accounts draw his warrants on
the treasurer of the state in favor of Frederick Jenkins,
James Jenkins, James West, George Hogg and W. C.
Hogg, each, for the sum of five dollars and forty cents.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
