CHAP. 388.—An ACT to amend and re-enact the first section of
an act approved vebruasy 18th, 1890, entitled an act to incorpo-
rate the Alexandria and Fairfax passenger railway company.
Approved February 25, 1802.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That section one of an act approved February eighteen,
eighteen hundred and ninety, entitled an act to incorporate
the Alexandria and Fairfax passenger railway company,
be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§ 1. That Henry Strauss, Isaac Eichberg, George W.
Fisher, and their associates and their successors, be, and
they are hereby, incorporated and made a body politic and
corporate by the name and style of the Washington, Alex-
andria and Mount Vernon electric railway company, by
which name it shall have perpetual succession and a com-
mon seal, may sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded,
contract and be contracted with, and shall have and exer-
cise all the rights, powers, and privileges, and be subject
to all duties and obligations of corporations of a like
character under the laws of the state of Virginia.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
