Chap. 336.—An ACT authorizing the appointment of a collector
of delinquent taxes for the city of Portsmouth.
Approved February 20, 1892.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the council of the city of Portsmouth may, in its
discretion, appoint a collector for the purpose of collecting
delinquent taxes due to said city, and may pay to him
such compensation, in commissions or salary, as it may
deem proper. |
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
