Chap. 3.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 1 of an act ap-
proved February 25, 1884, entitled an act to provide a corpora-
tion court for the city of Roanoke.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of’ Virginia,
That section one of an act approved February twenty-
fifth, eighteen hundred and eighty-four, entitled an act
to provide a corporation court for the city of Roanoke, be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

§ 1. There shall be established for the city of Roanoke a
corporation or hustings court, to be held by the city judge
of said city on the first Monday, or such other day as
said judge may from time to time fix, in each month, and
for a term of as many days as may be necessary in each month:
provided that no term shall be held in the month of
August.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
