CHAP. 107.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an
act to make Staunton river a lawful fence from the gap in
Smith mountain to Turner’s ford, approved March 28, 1871.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That section one of an act entitled an act to make Staun-
ton river a lawful fence from the gap of Smith mountain
to Turner’s ford, be amended and re-enacted so as to read
as follows:
§ 1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That Staun-
ton river shall be a lawful fence from the point where the
same passes through Smith mountain, on the line be-
tween the counties of Pittsylvania and Bedford to the
Roanoke county line.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
