Chap. 31.—An ACT to authorize the Potomac Bridge Company to
borrow Money, and issue Bonds therefor.
Approved February 4, 1876.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the Poto-
mac bridge company be and are hereby authorized to borrow
a sum of ‘money, not exceeding eighty-five thousand dollars,
and to issue therefor coupon bonds, to bear interest not ex-
ceeding the rate of eight per centum per annum, to be paid
semi-annually; the bonds to be signed by the president and
-countersigned by the treasurer, and secured by deed of trust
on the real or personal property of the company, or other-
wise, asethe directors may determine.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
