Chap. 30.—An ACT authorizing the Assistant Assessor of the County
of York, to Complete the Duties of the late Assessor.

Approved February 4, 1876.

_ Whereas, owing to the illness of William Henley, late as-
sessor for the re-assessment of the lands in the county of
York, the time for the completion of his duties was extended
by the county judge of said county to the first of January,
eighteen hundred and seventy-six; and whereas, the said
William Henley died on the first of January, eighteen hun-
dred. and seventy-six, before the completion of his said
duties:

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That B. F.
Smith, assistant assessor for the county of York, be and he

‘is hereby authorized to complete the duties of the late asses-

sor of said county, within the period of thirty days from the
passage of this act.

, 2. This act shall be in force from its passage. .
