Chap. 240.—An ACT to provide for a Special Election for an Attorney
for the Commonwealth in Prince William County.

Approved March 29, 1876.

1, Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the judge
of the county court of Prince William county is authorized
and directed to issue a writ of election to fill a vacancy in
the office of attorney for the commonwealth in the said
county. The said election shall be held on the fourth Thurs-
day in May, eighteen hundred and seventy-six, and sha'l in
all respects conform ‘to the provisions of the eleventh section
of chapter one bundred and fifty-three of the Acts of Assem-
bly of eighteen hundred and seventy-four and eighteen hun-
dred and seventy-five.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
