Chap. 226.—An ACT to Establish a Separate Election Precinct in the
County of Northampton.
Approved March 29, 1876.
1. Be it enacted by the genefal assembly of Virginia,
That whenever hereafter an election shall be holden in the
county of Northampton, in which all the lawful voters of
the county are required to vote, there shall be at the same
time a separate poll opened for such election, at the store
house of Samuel Kelly, situated in Hog island, within th
corporate limits of said county of Northampton. :
2. Be it further enacted, That the said separate poll shall
be conducted in the like manner, and all persons concerned
therein, governed by the general election laws of this state
as prescribed by the Code of Virginia (edition of eighteen
hundred aud seventy-three) and the laws amendatory thereof,
prescribing the mode of conducting separate elcctions.
3. This act shall be in force from the passage thereof.
