Chap. 222.—An ACT amending section two, chapter one hundred and
seventy of the Code of eighteen hundred and seventy-three, in rela-
tion to the Removal of Causes.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That section two
chapter one hundred and seventy of the Code of eighteen
hundred and seventy-three, be amended and re-enacted so as
to read as follows: |
§ 2. On motion of any party to a suit in a circuit court,
the said court may order it to be removed to any other cir-
cuit court, or to a corporation court, or to the court of the
county for which the former circuit court is held, if it is a
matter for which the county court has jurisdiction. The
judge of said court, in vacation, may make such order, after
reasonable notice to the adverse party. The order of re-
moval may be.made by the court or judge, without motion
or notice, when the judge is so situated as to render it im-
proper, in his judgment, for him to decide or preside at the
trial of the cause.
2. This act. shall be in force from its passage.
