Chap. 21.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section two of an act, ap-
yi proved March sixteenth, eighteen hundred and seventy-five, entitled
_, an act to Establish a New Judicial Circuit, to be known as the
~~ Seventeenth, and to alter the First and Eighth Circuits.
Approved January 26, 1876. —
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section two of an act, approved March the sixteenth, eigh-
teen hundred and seventy-five, to establish a new judicial
circuit, to be known as the seventeenth, and to alter the first
and eighth circuits, be amended and re-enacted so as to read
as follows:
§ 2. That the counties of Elizabeth City, York, Warwick,
James City, and the city of Williamsburg, and the counties
of New Kent, Charles City, Surry, Mathews, and Middlesex
shall constitute the eighth circuit; and all acts or parts of
acts inconsistent with this act are hereby repealed; and this
act shall be in torce from its passage.
