1: Be it enacted by the general assembly, That section
four of an act to sell the commons in the town of: Wood-
stock, Shenandoah county, Virginia, approved March fifteen,
eighteen hundred and seventy-five, be amended and re-
enacted so as to read as follows:
§ 4. If any portion of such fund shall remain undistributed
at the end of three years from the time the same is paid into
the hands of said receiver, the court may, upon the applica-
tion of the said authorities of said town, order the same to
be paid over to them as the property of said town, to be
used by them as their portion of the said sale money is au-
thorized to be used. -
2. This act sball be in force from its passage.
