Chap. 141.—An ACT to incorporate The Clark County Dairy Asso-
ciation.
Approved March 17, 1876.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
John R. Nunn, A. 8. Lippett, HE. C. Marshall, C. E. Lippett,
A. D. Hardesty, W. B. Claggett, D. C. Snyder, W. V. Green,
and J. E. Barnett, and such other persons as are now or may
hereafter become associated with them, are hereby consti-
tuted a body corporate, by the name of The Clark County
Dairy Association, in the county of Clark, for the purpose
of manufacturing cheese.
2. The said corporation shall have power to make and
adopt a constitution and by-laws, rules and regulations for
the admission and expulsion of its members: provided, that
in the event of the expulsion of any member, such expelled
member shall, before expulsion, be fully paid for his pecu-
niary interest in the property or possessions of said company,
and their government; the election of its officers, and to de-
fine their duties, and for the safe-keeping and protection of
its property and funds; and from time to time to alter or
repeal such constitution, by-laws, rules, and regulations:
provided, that the same be not inconsistent with the consti-
tution and laws of the United States or of the State of
Virginia. .
3. The said corporation may purchase and hold, or lease
any real or personal estate.
4, This act shall be in force from its passage, and be sub-
ject to amendment, alteration, or modification, at the plea-
sure of the general assembly.
