Chap. 118.—An ACT to change the name of the Fredericksburg and
Gordonsville Railroad Company to the Potomac, Fredericksburg and
Piedmont Railroad Company. . |

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the name
of the Fredericksburg and Gordonsville railroad company
shall be and the same is hereby changed to the Potomac,
Fredericksburg and Piedmont railroad company, and by that
name the said company may sue and be sued in all of the
courts of this commonwealth and elsewhere, and shall have,
possess and enjoy all the property, rights, and’ privileges
owned and held by, and all the powers and franchises granted
to and conferred upon, and be subject to all the obligations,
limitations and restrictions applicable to and binding upon
said Fredericksburg and Gordonsville railroad company by
the laws of this commonwealth and the contracts of said
company.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
