Chap. 112.—An ACT to permit the Richmond City Guard to Uniform
themselves in Such Manner as they may Decide.

Whereas, there is a volunteer company in the city of Rich-
mond composed of the requisite number of fnen, known as
the Richmond city guard, and commanded by Charles F.
Taylor; and whereas they desire to uniform themselves and
be mustered into the service of the state; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That it shall be
lawful for the Richmond city guard to uniform themselves in
such style and according to such regulations as they or a
majority of them shall agree: provided, that the uniform
shall be subject to the approval of the governor.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
