CHAP. 74.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 35, chapter 154 of
the Code of Virginta, edition of 1873, so as to dispense with the
August term of the corporation court of the city of Petersburg.

1, Be it enacted by the general assembly, That section thirty- §
five of chapter one hundred and fifty-four of the Code of Vir- £
ginia, edition of eighteen hundred and seventy-three, be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

§ 35. For every corporation in which the power of holding a
courts has been or shall be vested by law, there shall be held t
monthly terms of the corporation court: provided, however,
that the judges of the respective corporation courts may, in *
their discretion, omit the holding of a term for either the month -
of July or for the month of Angust, as they nay deem best.
