CHAP. 209,—An ACT to refund to Kirk & Shoemaker state taxes erre-
neouly assessed.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the auditor of public accounts be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to issue his warrant upon the state treasurer in
favor of Kirk and Shoemaker, for the sum of forty-six dollars
and twenty-eight cents out of any money in the treasury not
otherwise appropriated, the same being the amount of state
taxes collected from and erroncously assessed against the said
Kirk and Shoemaker, in the county of Nansemond, during the
years eighteen hundred and seventy-three, cighteen hundred
and seventy-four, and eighteen hundred and seventy-five.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
