CHAP. 190.—An ACT in relation to hauling seines, &e., in the waters
of Aceomac connty.

i. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section one of the Code of eighteen hundred and seventy-three,
as amended by an act approved March twenty-first, eighteca
hundred and seventy- seven. to ameud section one, chapter one
hundred, Code of eighteen hundred and seventy- three, in rela-
tion to hauling scines in the waters of the Chesapeake bay and
its tributaries, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as fol-
lows:
61. 0 any person shall. in any year, before the first day of
September. hanl a seine in the ereeks flowing into the sea in
Accomac county, or set weirs or seines, or haul a seine in said
waters ol said county before the first day of September, except
for fish known as “fat bacls,” before the first day of Septem-
ber, he shall forfeit fifty dollars.
2. ‘This act shall be in force from its passage.
