CHAP. 142._-An ACT to authorize the erection of a pier or wharf on
Lyon’s creek, in the county of Isle of Wight.

Approved February 27, 1879.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
Henry R. Parkér, of the county of Isle of Wight, be authorized
to erect a pier or wharf on Lyon’s creek, in the county of Isle
of Wight, for the purpose of shipping timber and cord-wood to
and from the same, for himself and others, and may charge for
the same such sum as the county court of Isle of Wight may
allow: provided, that said pier-head or wharf shall not inter-
fere with navigation.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
