CHAP. 117.—An ACT to provide for the election of four commission-
ers of the revenue for the county of Fauquier.

Approved February 27, 1879.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
aft the general election to be held in the county of Fauquier on
the fourth Thursday in May, eighteen hundred and seventy-
nine, and every four years thereafter, there shall be elected by
the qualified voters of said county four commissioners of reve-
nue for said county, instead of three, as now provided by law,
The districts shall conform as to their boundariés with the
Inagisterial districts now existing in said county, except those
magisterial districts formerly known as Cedar Run and Rappa-
hannock townships, shall form the fourth Uistrict for the pur-
poses of this act.

2. All acts and parts of acts in conflict with this act are
hereby repealed.

3. This act shall be in force from and after the fourth Thurs-
day in May, eighteen hundred and seventy-nine.
