CHAp. 115.—An ACT to refund to (, M. Adkisson, agent, certain
taxes erroneously assessecl against and paid by him.

Approved February 27, 1879.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the auditor of public accounts be and he is hereby directed to
refund to C. M. Adkisson, agent, of the county of Halifax, the
sum of sixteen dollars and twenty-five cents, being an amount
of revenue paid by him upon an erroneous assessment of cer-
tain real estate in said county: provided, that the auditor shall
not issue his warrant until the county court of Halifax county
shall certify that the said assessment was erroneons.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
