Chap. 97.—An ACT to require the clerk of any circuit, count
or corporation court to remit to the auditor whenever funds
ane e state in their hands shall amount to five hundred
ollars.
Approved February 2, 1890.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That every clerk of any circuit, county, or corporation
court, whenever the amount of funds in his hands due
the state shall amount to five hundred dollars, shall remit
the same to the auditor of public accounts by certified
check, made payable to the treasurer, or as otherwise pro-
vided by law; such payment to be credited to him and
allowed in his annual settlement.
2. This act shall be in force from-its passage.
CuapP. 98.—An ACT for the relief of Dr. A. C. Jones and B R.
Ketton, of Newport News.
Approved February 24, 1890.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That Doctor A.C. Jones and B. R. Ketton be, and they are
hereby, relieved from the payment of the recognizance
entered into by them as sureties for E. B. Anderson, in
the county of Warwick, on the twenty-third day of June,
eighteen hundred and eighty-eight.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
