CHAP. 62.—An ACT to prescribe the time for holding the circuit
courts in the second judicial circuit.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That inthe several counties of the second judicial circuit,
except the counties of Chesterfield, Brunswick, and
Greenesville, there shall be held in each year two regular
terms, and in the counties of Chesterfield, Brunswick, and
Greenesville, and in the city of Petersburg, three regular
terms of the circuit court.
2. The terms of said courts shall hereafter be held at
the times hereinafter specified, to wit: Dinwiddie—March
twenty-first, September twenty-first; Nottoway — March
thirteenth, September thirteenth; Brunswick—January
tenth, April tenth, October tenth; Greenesville—January
twentieth, April twentieth, October twentieth; Sussex—
April thirtieth, October thirtieth; Prince George—May
seventh, November seventh; Chesterfield—February fif-
teenth, May fifteenth, November fifteenth; Petersburg—
February fifth, June fifth, December fifth.
3. All act and parts of acts in conflict with this act are
hereby repealed.
4. This act shall be in force from its passage.
