CHAP. 164.—An ACT directing the secretary of the common-
wealth to affix the seal of the commonwealth to certain bonds.
Approved March 3, 1890.
Whereas certain coupon bonds of the state of Virginia,
numbered five thousand two hundred and six, five thou-
sand two.hundred and twenty-six, fifteen thousand one
hundred and twenty-eight, fifteen thousand one hundred
and twenty-nine, fifteen thousand one hundred and thirty.
fifteen thousand one hundred and thirty-one, one thousand
nine hundred and thirty-five, six thousand one hundred
and ninety-five, and six thousand one hundred and ninety-
six, purport to have been signed, executed, and delivered
by the proper official without having the impression of
the seal of the commonwealth thereto affixed; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia.
That the secretary of the commonwealth be, and he is
hereby, instructed and directed to affix the seal of the
commonwealth to said bonds, whenever the said bonds
are delivered to the second auditor to be funded under
the act of February fourteen, éighteen hundred and eighty-
two.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
