CHAP. 162.—An ACT to exempt marine insurance companies from
making a deposit of securities with the treasurer.

Approved March 3, 1890.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That insurance companies doing exclusively a marine
husiness in this state shall not he subject to the provi-
sions of section twelve hundred and seventvy-one of the
code of eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, requiring
eecurities to be deposited with the treasurer.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
