CHAPTER 716

An Act to direct the State Board of Health to transfer one of the State
sunatoria to the State Hospital Board; and to authorize the State
Hospital Board to operate the Sanatorium for the care of certain
persons committed to it.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

- §1. The State Board of Health is directed on or before June 30,
1967, to transfer to the State Hospital Board all of its property comprising
one of the State sanatoria to be determined by the Governor after advising
with the State Board of Health and the State Hospital Board.

§ 2. The State Hospital Board is authorized and directed to operate
the property being transferred to it from the State Board of Health for
the care and treatment of mentally ill, mentally retarded, mentally deficient
or alcoholic patients or as an institution devoted to geriatrics or treat-
ment of other mental disorders.
