CHAPTER 660

An Act to appropriate funds for the salaries for additional judges.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. $1. There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the State
treasury a sum sufficient estimated at eight thousand two hundred dollars
to be expended in payment of the salaries during the remainder of the
current biennium ending June thirty, nineteen hundred sixty-six, for the
additional judgeships for the second and thirty-fifth judicial circuits and
the Corporation Court of the city of Martinsville, created by the General
Assembly of nineteen hundred sixty-six. Such salaries and payment there-
of shall be subject to the other provisions of law governing salaries and
payment for judges of circuit courts generally.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
