CHAPTER 63
An Act to authorize the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries, sub-
ject to the approval of the Governor, to sell and convey certain real
estate, and to provide for the disposition of the proceeds of such sale.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries, subject to the written
approval of the Governor being first obtained, is authorized to sell at
auction, or by seeking sealed bids or by private sale, and to convey to the
r thereof the property known as 7 and 9 North Second Street,
Richmond, Virginia, which property was acquired by the Commonwealth
of Virginia, Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries by deed dated
May 8, 1946 from Ajax Realty Corporation, and recorded in the Chancery
Court of the City of Richmond, Virginia, in Deed Book 439-C at page 293.
Said property is described as follows:
All that certain lot of land with all improvements thereon and ap-
purtenances thereunto belonging, lying and being in the city of Rich-
mond, Virginia, known as Nos. 7 and 9 North Second Street, and more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Eastern line of North Second Street,
which point is at the northerly line of a fifteen (15) foot alley and is
one hundred and nineteen and sixty-three hundredths (119.63) feet North
of the Northern line of Main Street, thence running in a northerly direc-
tion, along the said Eastern line of North Second Street, and fronting
thereon forty-one and forty hundredths (41.40) feet to a point, which
point is at the Southerly line of another fifteen (15) foot alley, thence
back from said front between said alleys one hundred nineteen and ten
hundredths (119.10) feet to an alley or court in the rear, on which it
fronts forty-one and twenty-eight hundredths (41.28) feet; said prop-
erty being shown on plat of survey thereof made by Chas. H. Fleet,
Certified Civil Engineer, dated September, 1943.
Being the same real estate conveyed to Ajax Realty Corporation by
Otis Elevator Company, Incorporated, and by its deed dated September 15,
1943, recorded in D.B. 439-C, page 289, Richmond Chancery Court.

2. The proceeds of the sale shall be paid into the State treasury to the
credit of the game protection fund.
