CHAPTER 511

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
46.1-192.2, authorizing the court to make certain findings and impose
a penalty.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
46.1-192.2, as follows:

§ 46.1-192.2. Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions of this
article, upon the trial of any person charged with a violation thereof
where the degree of culpability is slight, the court in its discretion may
find the accused not guilty of reckless driving but guilty of improper driv-
ing and impose a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars.
