An Act to amend and reenact § 20-98 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to venue in suits for divorce, annulment and affirmation of marriage.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. fot § 20-98 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:

§ 20-98. The cult in either case, shall be brought in the county or
corporation in which the parties last cohabited, or at the option of the
plaintiff, in the county or corporation in which the defendant resides, if
a resident of this State, and * in cases in which an order of publication
may be issued against the defendant under § 8-71, in the county or cor-
poration in which the plaintiff resides.
