An Act to authorize certain cities to lease or assign certain public parking
facilities on certain conditions.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

§ 1. The governing body of any city having a population in excess
of three hundred thousand may lease or assign to any person, firm or cor-
poration, for the purposes of complying with the required parking provi-
sions of any zoning ordinance, with or without consideration, space or spaces
in any public parking facility, notwithstanding any other provision of law
or charter. The provisions of this section are in addition to, and not a
limitation on, any other power or powers prescribed by law.
