An Act to amend and reenact § 64-117 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to security on bonds of certain executors and personal representatives.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

bow That § 64-117 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as

§ 64-1 17. When the will directs that an executor shall not give
security or if the personal representative of an estate is the sole distributee
or sole beneficiary thereof the court or clerk shall not require it of him,
unless on the application of any person interested or from its or his own
knowledge it or he thinks security ought to be required.
