An Act to amend and reenact § 10-12.1 of the Code of Virginia, relating

to rules and regulations of the Board of Conservation and Economic
Development so as to adopt certain rules and regulations, and to pro-

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

en That § 10-12.1 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:

§ 10-12.1. (a) The Board shall have the power to make rules for
its own organization * . The Board shall have such other general and
specific powers as may be conferred upon it by law.

(bo) The Board shall have power to adopt such rules and regulations
from time to time, not in conflict with the laws of this State concern-
ing the use of properties under its control as will tend to the protec-
tion of such property and the public thereon and may impose charges
and fees for the use of such properties; violation of any such rule and
regulation adopted under this paragraph shall constitute a misdemeanor
and upon conviction be fined not less than five nor more than one hundred
dollars for each offense.
