An Act to amend and reenact § 87-150.1, as amended, of the Code of
Virginia, relating to powers, duties and liabilities of committees and
trustees in connection with certain payments from the Veterans’
Administration.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 37-150.1, as amended, of the Code of Virginia be amended and
reenacted as follows:
§ 37-150.1. Monthly payments of pension, compensation, insurance
or other benefits from the Veterans’ Administration made to a trustee
or committee shall be considered as income and not principal; provided
that the accumulation of monthly payments of pension, compensation,
insurance or other benefits received from the Veterans’ Administration by
a trustee or committee and in his hands at the end of the accounting year,
which accumulation amounts to two hundred dollars or more, may
carried over as principal and converted into the corpus of the estate.
