An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
54-112.11:1, relating to the issuance of temporary licenses to certain
persons as professional hairdressers, and to prescribe a fee therefor.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1, That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
54-112.11:1 as follows:
§ 54-112.11:1. The Board may issue a temporary license to any per-
son who otherwise is subject to examination, as provided in this chapter,
upon documentary or other satisfactory evidence that the applicant there-
for has the necessary qualifications to practice as a professional hairdresser,
provided, however, that such application for a temporary license is ac-
companied by an application for an examination as provided in this chapter
and the necessary fee therefor and a fee of two dollars for such temporary
license. Such temporary license shall remain in force until the next regular
meeting of the Board at which examinations are held and no longer. Two
such temporary licenses may not be issued to the same person. Each tem-
porary license shall state the date of expiration and the temporary license
shall after such date be void and of no effect.
