CHAPTER 86

An Act to amend and reenact § 46.1-154 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to fees for vehicles not designed or used for transportation of pas-
sengers.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 46.1-154 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:

§ 46.1-154. Except as hereinafter otherwise provided, the fee for
certificates of registration and license plates to be paid by the owners
of all motor vehicles, trailers and semitrailers not designed and used
for the transportation of passengers shall be determined by the gross
weight of the vehicle or combination of vehicles of which i
