An Act to amend and reenact § 15-9.2 of the Code of Virginia, which
section was enacted as Chapter 53 of the Acts of Assembly of 1960,
approved February 19, 1960, relating to the employment of assistant
Commonwealth’s attorneys in certain cities. 3 90

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 15-9.2 of the Code of Virginia, which section was enacted as
Chapter 538 of the Acts of Assembly of 1960, approved February 19, 1960,
be amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 15-9.2. Any city having a population in excess of * one hundred and
thirteen thousand but not more than * two hundred thousand may, with
the approval of the Compensation Board, provide for employing such
assistant or assistants to the Commonwealth’s attorney as may be required.
Such assistant or assistants shall be appointed by the Commonweath’s
attorney and shall be compensated as provided for assistants to Common-
wealth’s attorneys under § 14-66 of the Code of Virginia.
AU payments of such compensation heretofore made by any such
city on or after July one, nineteen hundred and sixty-one, are hereby
validated, ratified.and confirmed.
