Chap. 366.—An ACT authorizing a Review by the County Court o:
the Decisions of Justices of the Peace in Cases of Misdemeanors.

Approved March 31, 1875.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
whenever a person shall have been convicted of a misde-
meanor by any justice of the peace, the county court shall,
on motion of such person, review the decision of such justice,
and, in making the review, shall proceed in the same manner
as if the accused had taken an appeal to the county court.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
