Chap. 361.—An ACT to Prevent the Further Burial of Convicts within
the Corporate Limits of the City of Richmond.

Approved March 31, 1875.

1. Be it enacted by the gencral assembly, That it shall be
the duty. of the board of directors of the penitentiary, and
the superintendent of the penitentiary, to provide for the
burial of convicts who may die during the term of their sen-
tence, at some suitable and convenient place outside of the
corporate limits of the city of Richmond, distant not less
than three miles from the same.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
