Chap. 292.—An ACT to provide an Artificial Leg for W. P. Smith.
Approved March 29, 1875.

1, Be it enacted by the general asseinbly of Virginia, That
e board for the supply of artificial limbs is hereby autho-
ed and directed to issue to W. P. Smith, who lost his right
rat Gettysburg, an artificial leg, upon the production of a
tificate from the judge of the hustings court of the city
Richmond, that the applicant is a citizen of Richmond,
d lost his leg in the confederate service.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
