Chap. 952.—An ACT to prohibit the sale of intoxicating liquors within one
mile of the property commonly known as Walker’s mill, in the county of
Greenesville.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
unlawful for any person, corporation, or co-partnership to sell, or
fer to sell, by sample or representation or otherwise, any wine, spirit-
jus or malt liquors, or any mixture thereof, within one mile of the
operty commonly known as Walker’s mill, in the county of Greenes-
lle.
2. And no license shall be granted for the sale of any wine, spirituous
- malt liquors, or any mixture thereof, within a mile of the said
‘operty as aforesaid.
3. If anv person, corporation, or co-partnership violate anv of the
‘ovisions of this act, such person, corporation, or co-partnership shall
: liable to all the penalties imposed hy the statute laws of this com-
onwealth for the sale of spirituous liquors or ardent spirits without
-ense,
4. This act shall be in force from its passage.
