Chap. 86.—An ACT to permit C. W. Grandy, of Norfolk, Virginia, to erect
and maintain a wharf on James river in Charles City county, Virginia,
opposite the land called Kennon’s or Neilson’s landing.

1. Be it resolved by the general assembly of Virginia, That C. W.
Grandy, of Norfolk, Virginia, be, and he is hereby, authorized to erect
and maintain a wharf adjoining to and opposite the Jand of Murdaugh
and Mayo, called IKennon’s or Neilson landing, on James river, in the
county of Charles City, state of Virgina: provided, that such wharf
shall not obstruct navigation; and provided further, that this act shall
at all times be under the control of the general assembly.
This act shall be in force from its passage.
