Chap. 702.—An ACT to compensate school trustees, other than clerks, in
Patrick county.

Approved March 3, 1900.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
district school boards of the county of Patrick may, in their discretion,
compensate the school trustees of their respective districts, other than
the clerks of district boards, at the rate of one dollar for each day of ser-
vice actually rendered in discharge of their duties as trustees, payable
out of the district school funds: provided, that no trustee as aforesaid
shall receive more than twelve dollars in any one year for the services
aforesaid.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
