Richard J. Fletcher, of the County of Augusta.

Whereas it is represented that Richard J. Fletcher, a cit
zen of the county of Augusta, lost a leg while in the service
of the Confederate States; and whereas he received an arti-
figial leg under a former act of assembly, but has not been
able to use it; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the said
Richaid J. Fletcher, upon return of the artificial leg now in
his possession, be entitled to the benefits of an act to provide
artificial limbs for soldiers maimed in war, or to allow com-
mutation therefor.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
