Chap. 699.—An ACT to allow H. L. Newbill to erect an oyster-house or pier
in Essex county.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That H. L.
Newbill, of Essex county, be, and he is hereby, authorized and per-
mitted to erect an oyster-house or pier on his oyster ground, near Bowler’s
wharf, Rappahannock river, subject to all the laws of the state, govern-
ole
ing all wharves erected on the waters of the commonwealth: provided,
also, that this act shall at all times be under the control of the general
assembly, and be amended or repealed as may be deemed proper.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
