Chap. 68.—An ACT to authorize the Richmond standard steel spike and iron
company to construct a railway across the county road in Dunlap’s Creek
Valley in Alleghany county, upon such terms as may be prescribed by
the board of supervisors of Alleghany county.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the Rich-
nond standard steel spike and iron company be, and it is hereby,
iuthorized to lay the track of a steam railroad across the public road run-
1ing along the northwestern front of Peter’s mountain, in Alleghany
county, Virginia, as it goes up Dunlap’s creek, from its iron mines on
Peter's mountain to the main line of the Chesapeake and Ohio railway,
apon such terms as may be prescribed by the board of supervisors of
Alleghany county.
2. ‘This act shall be in force from its passage.
