Chap. 66.—An ACT to authorize and empower the council of the town of
Farmville to vacate and close so much of Spruce street as lies between
High and Chambers streets.

Approved January 17, 1900.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the town
council of the town of Farmville be, and they are hereby, authorized and
empowered to vacate and close so much of Spruce street as hes between
High and Chambers streets, as shown by plat of said town, commonly
known as Chambers surve y.

2. Should the state female normal school of Virginia, now owning
property contiguous to said street, cease to own the said property con-
tiguous to said street, then. and in that event, the said street shall be
reopencd and re-established.

This act shall be in force from its passage.
